The Dutch Blind

Known by various names around the Country such as Bonnet, Basket or Hood blinds, the most common variation is Dutch Blind. The framework is contstructed from silver anodised aluminium extrusion (which can also be powder coated to different colours). The extrusion takes a PVC insert to which the fabric of choice is attached.

A retractable Dutch Blind is generally operated by a cord and pulley system secured to a cleat. On larger blinds there are alternative methods. Either a gear and winding handle or electrically operated.

Dutch Blinds come in myriad shapes and sizes - either retractable or rigid dependant on the measurement and style of any individual requirements. The extrusion can also be formed into a variety of curved shapes.

Dutch Blinds can be covered in a vast range of colourway and fabrics.

There are a range of options for operating a Sunkut Dutch blind including a manual cord and pulley system, a Steel wire winch system and a Sunkut motor assembley.
